The instructions have you return Illustrator to its pre-HTML5 service pack days by re-installing your backup files. That was September, right? Well by December I figured everything was fne and eliminated the extraneous files. As I said at the time, Adobe suggested creating a backup folder for the files replaced. I posted about it at the time- it was back in September, and it was a pain in the ass. Several weeks back Adobe released an HTML5 service pack that required some annoying long-hand file replacements to install. ![]() The AdobeSupportAdvisor says there are no problems, but it just won't run.Ī few moments on the forums led me to something called Adobe Illustrator 15.0.2 compatible HTML5 pack - Update Instructions which seems to contain the answer. I tried to run the new update for Illustrator CS5, taking it to v15.0.2.
